The Squad:
Agent Aquarius: Sub G-4 was probably the best thing that has ever happened to me. Before I pledged
my allegiance to the battalion, people passed me off as a spaced-out
conspiracy theorist. I was labeled everything in the book from a hippy to
a straight up weirdo. I was frustrated into conforming with the robotic,
repetitive and non-analytical ways of society's norm. That was before "The
Disturbance". Now my voice is going to be heard. Now its all about truth.
Now it's all about reason. Now it's all about being.
Sage "The Blade" Recipio: I was born in a city that has no name—dark, twisted alleys filled with
people you hope you never meet—punks, degenerate criminals,
hot women with cold attitudes. My life was a constant test for survival,
the weakest weeded out through series' of countless battles. I became a
"hired gun", a mercenary. Then I found Sub G-4. I learned to hone my
skills, to dispatch victims with more precision. My blade became my brush,
and its victims, my canvas. Then, "The Disturbance." Now, I find myself in
this desolate city, wrought with destruction. I stand as the only
protection for the multitude of citizens burdened with living in these
slums. I am their guardian. I am the law.
Lipps Layfield: Expect the unexpected. Cliche, I know. But know this, nothing is sacred, nor taboo with me. Known for
questioning authority, taking risks and refusing to bite my tongue or
conform to a certain mold, I, more times than not, find trouble for
myself. However, I am also regarded as the geek of the group. My
insatiable desire for knowledge in all things scientific and technological
made me a prime candidate to head up Sub G-4's technology and future
weapons division. Nevertheless, the ultimate demise of Rogue Falls has
forced me to rely on my unique style and technological prowess to
lead Rogue Falls back to it's glory days.
Calico Fresh: Before the Disturbance I had been a shut in, a hermit, owning little more than my library of historical tomes. When Sub G-4 called upon me I initially refused, I wanted no part of there ravel. Yet the city has changed so much in the past few years and so must I. Classically trained in the techniques of the old masters, I have taken it upon myself to uncover the truth and restore reason to this once great society. Old Town is where I make my home, in the house of Calico. This is where the line has been drawn. I must not fail, Sub-G 4 will not fail, as the fate of our lives hangs in the balance.
Rogue Falls Backstory:
There was a time when Rogue Falls was once a prosperous city-state. Many
came from across the 7 sands to witness what people called the pinnacle of
technology and growth among the nations.
Those days are now distant memories, remembered only by the ancients, true
survivors of "The Disturbance", and spoken of only in whisper. The city's
governing body has abandoned its citizens, forcing them to fight for their
very survival. The evil that has plagued this once great city, has
vanished without a trace, leaving non but a mysterious, dark cloud and
rubble in its wake.
From its ashes rose a new society, forged from wreckage, and built with
beaten hands. The fate of its citizens lies with a new ruling body,
located atop the city's highest standing building, in the center of the
city. Dubbed "The Reservation", this building houses a secret society of
governing officials, known as "Rogue Squirrel", former members of Sub G-4,
previously Rogue Falls' Elite Battle Battalion. Four figures, each
assigned to their own borough, now decide the fate of its people.
The northern section, given to Codename: Agent Aquarius, is now home to a
growing spiritual revival, providing a beacon of hope for its citizens.
To the south sits the historical district, now under the tutelage of Codename: Calico Fresh, who has ascended from the burning embers and wreckage of his former home to become the harbinger of a new age of reason.
To the west lies the city's technology center, headed by Codename: Lipps
Layfield, once the head of Sub G-4's scientific department and future weapons
division. Now he stands as the leader to the west, embracing technology,
seeking to restore the city to its former glory.
And to the east, lies the seedy underbelly of Rogue Falls, home to the
schisty individuals that make up Rogue Falls' downtown district. Its
leader shrouded in mystery, Codename: Sage "The Blade" Recipio, once
Sub G-4's weapons expert, now the only law that stands among a sea of criminals.
Only time will tell the fate of this fair city. And in the fog, an enemy
still remains...this is their story.
